QUAD What’s the newest tire from Maxxis?

Harry We have several new tires coming available in the next few months including:

Razr iMX — Radial performance for ATV MX racing across all terrain.Sizes: rear: 18×10R9, 19×10R9. front: 20×6R10, 19×6R10.

Razr Cross — New ATV MX tire designed for intermediate terrain. Also available in 18×6.50-8 size for mini quads riding both cross country and MX. Sizes: rear: 18×10-8, 18×6.50-8. front: 20×6-10, 19×6-10.

Razr 4Speed — High performance “sport-type tire for Utility quads. Radial construction and race inspired tread design tested and approved by legendary racer Mike Penland for both GNCC and Baja conditions.Sizes: rear: 25×10R12, 26×11R12, 26×11R14. front: 25×8R12, 26×9R12, 26×9R14.

Mud Bug R — All the mud traction of the original Maxxis Mud Bug with an updated tread design and radial construction providing superb trail performance as well. Available in 14. Sizes: rear: 25×10R12, 26×11R12, 26×11R14. front: 25×8R12, 26×9R12, 26×9R14.

New sizes 14 in Bighorn (26×9R14, 26×11R14) and a 30 tall Mudzilla (30×9-14, 30×11-14).

QUAD What’s the best-selling Maxxis tire?

Harry The best selling Maxxis ATV tire is still the Maxxis Razr, 20×11-9. There are several others close.

QUAD How many different types of tires does Maxxis make?

Harry Maxxis makes automobile, light truck, motorcycle, ATV, bicycle, race kart, trailer, and lawn and garden tires.

QUAD Maxxis is a big supporter of ATV racing. What series are you guys involved in?

Harry We proudly support many ATV races and race series both locally and regionally. Some of the larger events include the GNCC Series, WORCS, WPSA, GNC ATVA MX, Maxxis New England ATV-MX, Maxxis 12 Hours of ATV America, and Highlifter Mud Nationals.

QUAD What’s your favorite thing about ATVs and the industry?

Harry I personally enjoy ATV racing of all types because of the way racers push their equipment to the absolute limit. At Maxxis we really believe in race support and use racer feedback from all skill levels when developing new tires or modifying others. This enables us to offer the highest quality possible in terms of both performance and durability.
