Quad: How did HMF get started?
Hans: I got started in my garage after I got laid off from PPG industries. I did lots of fab work and custom painting.
Quad: What is HMF’s newest product?
Hans: Are newest product would be the Swamp series pipe for the mud bogers and designed for ultimate durability in all stainless steel. It will come with the optional snorkel kit.
Quad: What’s the most popular HMF pipe?
Hans: The largest selling pipe is still the 400EX the most popular is the standard sport series.
Quad: What other motorsports stuff do you do?
Hans: We do street exhaust to we work with local people doing custom work. Right now I am building a class 10 score desert buggy with a Honda engine and 24 inches of wheel travel.
Quad: What’s your favorite thing about ATVs and the industry?
Hans: My favorite thing is the people most of them are very friendly and outgoing and that makes it fun to come to work.
