The Goods: M2R’s EVO Jacket was originally designed for street riding. When we came across this jacket, there were some great features that we thought would make it perfect for a number of ATV applications. The entire jacket is made of heavy-duty 500-denier with heavy-duty zippers. The inner liner is 100-percent waterproof and can be switched out with an optional thermal liner. The sleeves zip off for warmer weather riding, and the inside is made of a soft mesh to keep you cool. There are tons of pockets—trust us, you’ll be able to carry just about anything in this jacket. It also has 3M Scotchlite striping for added nighttime visibility, and last, but not least, it has a water bladder in the back of the jacket.

The Verdict: Do you ever get tired of having to ride in a hooded sweatshirt, windbreaker, and a snow jacket? We do! Well, the Rallycross EVO is a great answer for us quad riders. With the optional thermal liner, it kept us warm in the coldest weather. The jacket has seen a lot of action (including a nice, mild crash), and it still looks brand new. While the cost of the jacket is pretty steep, if you figure in the money you’ll save from having to buy a few different jackets and a spare water bottle to strap to your back, it might just be a worthy investment.

Hits: A great jacket for any excursion.

Misses: A little bulky and carries a hefty price tag.
