Would You Buy This Suzuki Truck?

Now, before all of you out there comment that you’ve already seen this truck - I know it’s not new. If I’m not mistaken, this Suzuki concept truck actually first showed up at a Japanese auto show in 2007.

I was online late last night looking for some Suzuki logos (to run with another story on our site) and I came across a cool gallery of pics showing off this Suzuki X-Head concept vehicle. I remember when I first saw the pics last year and I thought the truck was the coolest thing I had seen in awhile—a lot of people have commented that it looks like an old-school Tonka truck (which is a toy that I grew up with, so I could definitely relate!).

Anyway, seeing these pics again got me thinking… If this truck were to hit the market “as is” like you see it in these pics, would you buy one? And I say “as is” because most “concept” vehicles that actually end up going into production rarely look like they did at the concept stage.

I for one would buy one in a heartbeat. I don’t know about you, but I think this truck would be a big hit here in America. Seriously - what man over the age of 35 wouldn’t want their own personal Tonka truck to haul his quads around in style?

No doubt! But the question is Enrico - would you roll with the truck? I also love the side cargo storage area.

As is? Nope. I beleive in following the law and I am pretty sure that the US law states that the steering wheel needs to be on the left side of the vehicle. Otherwise, this rig would give shotgun a different meaning.

I would totally buy one, but you know me…I love rectangular vehicles. Heck, my car now is more than half plastic on the inside and outside. Sign me up for this Tonka!
