Birch Creek MX Pro & Pro-Am Pics … Part 1

Well, the race is over and it was a good one!

Team Rockstar/Makita/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Rider Dustin Wimmer took the overall win in the Pro Class at Birch Creek.

In the first moto, Honda’s Joe Byrd grabbed the holeshot, but on the first lap, Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Chad Weinen passed Byrd for the early lead. Not long into the moto Wimmer also got around Byrd and the race between Weinen and Wimmer was on! The two checked out and ran well ahead of the rest of the pack. For most of the moto Wimmer shadowed Weinen, but within sight of the checkers it looked like Wimmer backed off the gas slightly … maybe to conserve energy for moto 2.

In the Pro-Am Production class, Cody Gibson looked unstoppable aboard his Walsh Racecraft/Monster Energy Kawasaki. This kid is definitely going to be one to watch when he jumps to the Pro Class next year!

Check out the pics from the first moto and stay tuned for an update and more pics from the second moto!
