WHAT:

From New York to Seattle, the 13-city nationwide tour of the Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows® presented by Toyota will offer attendees across the country an all access pass to the world of motorcycling with hundreds of the latest street bikes, dirt bikes, cruisers, scooters and ATVs for both new and experienced riders. This motorcycle extravaganza will also give enthusiasts of all ages the opportunity to check out the latest gear and aftermarket accessories and see high-flying freestyle motocross action. Exciting features this year include U.S. debuts of hot new models, an up-close look at the latest in fuel efficient transportation with more than 500 new vehicles that get 50-plus miles to the gallon, more demo rides than ever and more. Participating manufacturers include: Aprilia, BMW, Buell, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Kymco, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio, Polaris, Star, Suzuki, Vespa, Victory and Yamaha.

Long Beach, Calif. — (December 3, 2008) — The Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows® presented by Toyota rolls into the Long Beach Convention Center Friday, December 5 through Sunday, December 7 as part of a 13-city nationwide tour. This motorcycle extravaganza is an all access pass to the world of motorcycling with hundreds of the latest street bikes, dirt bikes, cruisers, scooters and ATVs for both new and experienced riders. Long Beach showgoers will enjoy several world and North American debuts including the Vectrix Vx-1 all-electric scooter, Ducati Streetfighter, BMW K1300S and more. Additionally, several manufactures will offer attendees an up-close look at the latest in fuel efficient transportation with more than 500 new vehicles that get 50-plus miles to the gallon — there has never been a better time to ride!

“Southern California will be treated to exciting world and North American bike debuts from several manufactures,” said Group Show Director jeff D’Entremont. “Enthusiasts will also have the unique opportunity to test ride our large demo fleet ever to truly experience all the new bikes. This event will offer several new show features including first-time rider seminars, a Scooter Pavilion presented by GEICO Powersports, stunt shows and more for the entire family.”
