Today was the final round for the 2008 ITP/Yamaha Quadcross Series. The race took place at Glen Helen Raceway. Because of the Holiday weekend and all of the running around with the family, I could not capture all the excitement but I did manage to convince the wife to allow me to stop by the track on the way home to shoot the second PRO Moto.

The track had a different layout, they cut the first turn short and ran Talladega backwards and also included a double lined berm trail filled with Glen Helen’s infamous deep sand.

The buzz around the track however was all on Dustin Nelson and his new YFZ450R, which proved to be a tough competitor after the first moto as Dustin took the win only to come in second overall for the day to Brandon Smith and his fierce Motoworks Can-Am.
