Race Tech ATV Conversion Packages are a great way for riders to upgrade their OEM shocks to the highest performance level for a fraction of the cost of new components. Race Tech’s Conversion Packages include Shock Gold Valves, Springs, Low-Friction Seals, Ultra Slick Shock Fluid, fresh nitrogen and technical labor. The customer also has the option of hard anodizing the shock bodies and coating the shock shaft (where applicable) to reduce friction and wear.
Race Tech’s DVS System for ATV’s selects the proper valving and spring rates for the rider based on the riders’ specifications, skill level and type of terrain. Two spring kits are available to compliment the Front or Rear Gold Valve Shock Kits. The Race Series is a no-preload (NPL) setup for riding types such as motocross and cross-country racing where a low center-of-gravity and high speed cornering is required. The Ride Height is fully adjustable to compensate for various track conditions. The Sport Series is a preloaded setup that maintains a “close to stock” ride height. The Sport setup is good for, but not limited to, desert racing and recreational riding where maximum active travel and ground clearance is desired. The Gold Valve Shock Kits for ATV’s come with either one or two Gold Valve pistons and custom valve settings based on the spring series selected.
Complete Shock Conversion packages vary in pricing and depends on the Race or Sport Series springs. Rear Kits go from $400.00 up to $550.00 and Front Kits are from $620 to $720.
