Tech Tip: Clutch Springs

When installing a new clutch on your quad, swap out the old clutch springs for new ones. Clutch springs control the amount of tension that is applied when the clutch is being released (when the inner hub and outer basket begin to come back into contact with each other). Clutch springs generally fatigue 10 percent after only 10 hours of riding! So when you change your quad’s clutch plates, be sure to throw in some new springs, too.
