Motoworks Race Report: Pleasure Valley ATV MX
The Can-AM backed Motowork’s East Coast MX team took on Round 9 of the AMA/ATV Nationals at Pleasure Valley Raceway in Armaugh, Pa. All three riders made the trip and finished respectably in the ATV Pro class. Jeremy Lawson, who’s coming off a great finish at Muddy Creek last month, finished 13/5 for a 9th-place overall. Lawson got tangled up in Moto 1, but finished a strong 5th in Moto 2. Brandon Smith rode to a mid-pack finish where he posted a 14/14 for a matching 14th overall. Smith is still trying to get those MX starts down, and always gives a 110% and will get better as his experience grows. Finally Jeremie Warnia, also known as “Frenchie”, continues to do triple duty in AMA, ITP QuadCross, and the WORCS series. Warnia posted a 19/12 for a 15th overall.
“We had an average weekend, which is good for us. We finished and really didn’t encounter any severe problems. We are continuing to gain experience as a premier MX ATV team in the East Coast AMA series. I continue to be impressed and support our guys as they battle through this long season. Were already looking ahead for rounds 10 and 11,” said Ty Zimmerman of Motoworks.
Motoworks will make their way north to the famous Red Bud track in Buchannan, MI, next.
