Motoworks Race Report- Round #7 (Unidilla)
New Berlin, NY: 06/14/09- Motowork’s East coast team visited New Berlin, NY for Rnd #7 of the AMA/ATV Moose MX Championships this past weekend. Teammates Jeremy Lawson & Brandon Smith rode exceptionally well for what the Unidilla track dealt them. Lawson had good starts in both motos, finishing 4th & 5th for a 5th O/A. Smith who returned to the series after heading west for the WORCS round two weeks ago, posted a 14th & 12th for a 12th O/A finish.
“It was all about the starts today. Lawson & Brandon rode really well, but the track was so one lined that if you didn’t get the start, you were forced to follow until a opening occurred. It was close finishes in both motos with the front runners. Good racing this weekend for sure. We will have a week off and return for Blountville later this month” Ty Zimmerman of Motoworks
Motoworks will take the week off and be back to start the second half of this MX East coast season. Stay tuned!
