Great pictures. I’m wanting to upgrade my 700xx. If you know, what kind of accessories is he running on this machine: exhaust, air filter, ecu, etc. The sponsor stickers help, but not with everything.
thanks in advance.

The exhaust on Matlock’s 700xx is not available to the public. The exhaust is made buy Honda cost around $7,000. or even more.

I think the initial magazine tests gave underwhelming reviews, and Matlock and Co showed the great potential of the 700xx. I know that trails and dune riding in sand has some different challenges, but I would love to learn your recommendations for pipe, wheels, efi mod, air filter, and perhaps steering stem and handlebar ideas to make it shine. Which items give the most performance boost for the dollar?

i would love to get your recommnedations for mods that would improve performance in the dunes both for the tricky tight dune trails that require 10 mph speeds, and the big hills and the flat out areas too. I think that the initial reviews on the 700xx were, shal we say, underwhelming, but you but Matlock and Co. have really shown the true colors of this quad. They are selling them for $5899 Locally!I would be interested in details about steering stem recommendations, pipe, filter, handlebars, and other mods. Do you have videos of the bike rocking through the 1000 desert?
Thank you, and good luck with your career.
Bob and Anna, her dune name is Anna Sandanna!

I have a 2008, the first one released in the coastal areas of North Carolina. What's the big deal about that? Well, basically I've been left on my own to research continuously for product upgrades (not to say that my local dealer wasn't helpful, but aftermarket has been slow coming). If you're interested in seeing my quad and the list of upgrades completed and planned, check my site at: http://www.loopd.com/Members/Regulator/About.aspx .
Also, not listed on the site, is the upgrade I'm about to do on the front end - finally - that will include Houser A-Arms, Elka shocks and Streamline steal braided brake lines (i've had to save up my pennies for this one!).
I'm moving to SoCal in a few weeks and hope to pick up desert racing and cut back on the ATV MX. If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up by email or at the site.
Semper Fi,
Dave
