The Goods- New for 2007 is the Troy Lee Designs Ignition Back Pack. The backpack is made to handle just about anything you can throw at it. Its double stitched throughout, and padded all over the place. It has a large main pocket with easy access, and a built-in laptop compartment. The entire backpack is made out of heavy-duty nylon and has areas with breathable mesh.

The Verdict- When Troy Lee Designs sent over some gear for the magazine I was pleasantly surprised to find this new backpack inside. I have to tell you, I have had a lot of backpacks before and none have even compared. This bag is tough, I’ve been dragging it all over the place trying to get the stitches to give, but nothing yet.
The laptop compartment is great; it’s big enough to hold my 16 inch long Macintosh. It has a cell phone pocket on the shoulder strap that puts my phone on my shoulder when I’m wearing that pack. There is only two things I would change, first it would be nice to have a second clip at the bottom of the shoulder straps. This way it keeps the bag in place if you decide to wear it while riding. Second would be a bit more padding on the shoulder straps, after a lot of wear my shoulders started to feel it a bit.
Overall if your looking for a new backpack that can hold your laptop and a lot of gear, and still look cool then this backpack is for you.

Hits- Looks great, functions even better, and near indestructible

Misses- A waist clip would be nice, and some extra padding for the shoulders.
