Let me start by saying that you Quad Mag guys reading this made me do math to post this why? Haha just kidding I actually am good at math. Now on to my main section here. I own a 2004 Trx450r. Like me I'm sure many of you are looking to get around the some of the annoying things I've been dealing with.

First off one of the most popular things to spruce up your quad are handlebars. However Honda decided to put your key and suck on the handlebars. At first I was disapointed I couldn't put my favorite Pro-Tapers on there but I decided to try. If you are putting an SE bar size heres how to fix your problem. If you look at the common SE bar you'll see that the bar pad attaches to a metal rod blocking you from putting your electrical setup over the top of this. However on closer inspection you can see that this rod can be removed with the right size Alan Wrench. After removal just pop it on. 

For oversize bars the electrical setup has a SE size hole to accomadate stock bars. But simply measure the circumfrence of you oversize bars and grind out the plastic holes on each side to that same thickness and thats it.

Note: Bar pads WILL NOT IN ANY WAY fit with your electrical. This is simply to get a stronger set on your quad. This has only been tested with Pro Taper Bars. If you are doing this with Renthal Bars or any others make sure they have a removable bar rod for the SE size, for oversize any will work with my technique.
