Does anyone know of a head to head comparison of the different axle choices that are available for utility quads?  I need 1 new axle for my 2005 Sportsman 700EFI and I cannot decide which is the best way to go.  Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Well, i dont know if anyone has HL axles yet. Since they arent even on thier site. So I dont think they are available. The Gorillas are good. It doesnt look like turner offers axles for your bike :/. Those are very strong. I guess it comes down to why you broke yours, and what your setup is. If you run big rubber, and or a lift. And want something stronger, then go ahead and get a gorilla. If you tore a boot, and let water get in and the joint exploded, then a stocker would be fine for you.

One thing to note is the CVs are rebuildable. You can get joints for them, or even just the guts of the CV if your cup is ok. Those are a lot cheaper. A rebuild through gorilla is around $75 for OEM duty CV. That consists of only the bearings, race, and cage. So you would need a boot (if you tore yours), and some molly grease.

Axles are cheap to rebuild.
