i currently have a 08 suzuki ltz 400, im gonna be trading it next year i want bigger and badder, i fell in love with my suzuki but i have to have a faster machine, my riding buddy just purchased a o8 honda 700 xx, ive been kicking around a ltr 450 or the new DS 450 X mx, i want a machine that can take a beating i ride alot of wide open flats and alot of hilly terrain we have a few play areas with some massive jumps, i ride hard, getting back to that 700xx i dont wanna just be able to beat it i wanna make him cry in a flat run. which is my best option? maybe you have a tottaly different thought on a machine? keep it lite!

I'm sure you can't go wrong with either but if you're looking for all out top speed maybe consider a Raptor 700R to get the big bore engine, or possibly one of the new Polaris Outlaws, which if you're into the IRS on your buddies XX, would be a good bet because the Outlaw has an IRS version as well. I believe I've read the Outlaws will go a little faster than the Raptor and the XX as well.

well see its not that i dont like yamahas its that hahaha i talk to much smack about them to buy one… but i guess thats only becuase the guys i know that have em talk to highly of em and it makes me sick! hahah but do you think a 450 would run with that 700 xx?
