i have a 04 trx400,  i wanna upgrade the plastics, does any one know if 07 or newer plastics will fit the 04. i also wanna change the headlight also, and i like the new setup better

My buddy has a 03 and a 07.  You are correct the plastic is a lot sharper on the 07, but I don't believe you can swap them out without unless you make some changes to the frame.  I've never tried actually swapping them, but they are very different even though the machines are very much similar.  Don't know if I was much help to you…
